Default Comments on my handling spec ideas

Hi all
Well the plan into repairing, upgrading and restoring my car after my bump.
Been doing lots of thinking on parts. Now I'm happy with just shy of 200bhp, the full round number would be nice but nit important, so the engine is going to be left alone apart form a good service, but that's another day.
So I wanna go to town on the handling, so here my idea and if anyone has improvements or different ideas do let me know.
Using my exciting Koni adjustable shocks, with new springs, I'v got a the mo, -40mm cut (previous owner), I really like the look, but I know its not good!
So thinking either non cut -40mm or -35mm. Any idea on whos springs?
Adjustable TCAs, either a new set from Compbrake, or the Old skool style ones I've got, kinda home jobs ones.
Rose Jointed Steering arms ends.
Adjustable top mounts
Anti roll bar, I've been thinking about using a RS16i unit, but the means different gearbox and not mage keen on doing that.
Second option some adjustable ARB for a mk4 the is very rare and cost lots, but thats all i know about it.
Third option is using the thinker ARB for a mk4 I have in my garage.
Any other options for ARB?
Full new polybush kit.
Front Strut Brace
Rear Strut Brace

Not it the rear end I have no real idea about, Some one told me about adjustable trailing arms, but I cant find anything online. Also seen on the Compbrake site a link call "ford mk4 adjustable rear wishbones" but the link don't work, so any more info on this would be good to.
Wheels will be the standard alloys with toyo tr-1s

Cheers for any help and info.

you really need to get rid of arb and put some proper coilover on it and not the gaz's some billies would be nice like the ones mef did and all your other ideas for the front i currently run with a propper motorsport rack and you just point it where you want to go and it drags itself there and rides lovely on bumpy roads no being pulled from side to side, the rear to go adjustable really you need coilovers and rear discs to push wheels out and then bin rear arms for adjustables but you will need to go to a specialist to get all that set up but will handle a treat and with 200bhp make a great lively car

Sorry bud, might be a combination of my shit reading skill but that doesn't make sence to me 100%. I've got saff 2wd brakes all round. I've been thinking bout coilover but I think they are a lil extreme for just road use, I'm not making track car and I think I'm right in thinking I need the back end seam welding up?

thar rs combi is one nice set up but the standard mk4 can't take it due to cradle for gearbox but is the way forward, you could do away with the arb and use compression struts as you've got coilovers and then be fully independent p.s adjustable top mounts or just solid top mounts

This is a front set up I've looking and and really like the idea, apart form having to change the gbox, but if it is really that well recommended the I may have to.

second pic is to replace rear arms as he's on coilovers so no need for spring platform and XRMALIN i run solid top mounts and adj tca's on my daily driver with coilovers and it's never felt better best setup i've had and not harsh like everyone with the gaz's seems to have but got them second hand so don't know poundage of springs

Well it will be a fast road and show car, and I dont let people sit in the car of the car, so its really only a 2 seater, so would it need it?
My new idea is -40mm spring on my koni's, rear strut brace, front strut brace, adjst TCAs, Tie/track rod ends, full new poly bush kit. Then once I got the body repaired form the bump and let my banck accout recover, I shall come back to the Coilover and everything adjst plans.
But i was thinking that when we are welding and cut the rot, if i shoulf seam weld the car up.

If the car is only a road/show car like you say, then I wouldnt bother spending cash on making it adjustable.Total waste of money.Koni's,springs (not -40mm,but -25mm)fully polybushed will do the trick nicely.Use the money saved for beer!!! Micky

Only thing is I'm one of the few 24year old lads out there that is nearly tea total, get my kicks from smoking weed and that's pretty much free for me.
The car is going fast road and the occassional track days. But want it the best I can to give my mates 306gti6 a run for it's money in the bends.
