Hi lads, i would like to ask if anyone can tell me the answer to a DRUGS QUESTION...

What it is, my step daughter (Natalie) went out with here mate on saturday night. Well at 5.20am we were woke up by the front door slamming, so i got up to see what was going on. Well Nat and her mate were going down the drive to a ambulance that was sitting at the bottom of the drive way. Well with that, the ambulance was gone and as you can guess, me and the wife are saying wot the fxxk is going on??? . My wife tried to ring Nat to see wht was going on but no reply. At 6am Nat sent us a text to say she was at hospital and would be home soon. Well we didn't know what hospital they were at so we got a bit of sleep in the mean time. When she came home at about 10am sunday she went straight to bed till about 5pm. She has had a small chat with my wife/ her mom and all she has said is they went to a pub and had a glass of wine but when they wanted to go out side for a fag, they were told they could not take there drinks outside so they put them on the side for 5min. Well thats what she says.... next thing she said was that they slowly started to not feel right and got the shakes and felt very cold and could not stop laffing. From what i can make out, her mate drove home. Nat and her felt the same when they got here so they rang for a ambulance. Thats all i know? What do you lot think? Did she get her drink drugged or do you think she took something and just dose not want to own up to it? I just dont know........

sounds like some sort of date rape thing, good job she was with a few friends. Used to happen alot down my way but its carmed down now, my mate dave even had it done to him was seriously wasted on 2 pints

would she not have had an evelope from the hospital to give to her doctor, if she has then that will tell you what went on, its normal practice round here to be given an envelope to give to your doc.

 

What age is she? Cant you speak to the hospital to see what they found etc?

i mean two lasses in a boozer are perfect prey , as harsh as that sounds,

if it was me if give her the benafit of the doubt, you steamroller her with dont do this ect shes going to loose the trust between her and you and her mother, at the mement shes willing to speak to you on the subject ,

also that other way to look at this is , if she did drop something and dosent want to admit to it , then the scare of being freaked out and carted off to hospital may of done the ideal thing and completley put her off drugs,


but just to give you food for thought re spiking mate ,

im 6ft 23 st and not a small lad, went to a nightclub in basildon essex few years back with a bouncer mate , having a cracking eve, bumped into a lad , spilt his pint apologised and bought him another , put me drink down for a minuite ( honestly a minuite with em back to it )


40 min later my friend found me collapsed in the blokes lavvys , he cleaned the door off its hinges to get me out , i was just able to walk past the bouncers , got sped bk home half hour drive in ten min

i was absolutely flaked , couldnt do a thing , and slept for about 18 hrs ,



these things happen mate , lets hope the scare has made her see sence ,

Tread carefully and DON'T get cross about it, otherwise you'll never know. Be cool wilth her and see if she'll open up if she knows that you're not going to be mad, but just want to know so you can stop worrying.

Many years ago when I was more foolish and I started 'experimenting' my mum said that she'd never be cross, but wanted me to tell her what I'd taken and what happened so she could understand. Looking back it was a very sensible bit of parenting (for and otherwise very 'straight') mum) and was open and honest about stuff without fear of being yelled at or punished.

how can anyone say it sounds like they have been spiked unless you were with them?
ive been "spiked" before by myself but had to tell rents it was by someone else..

 

Unfortunatly, drink spiking is not that uncommon. I'd say more of my female freinds (I'm 19, so about that age) think they've had their drink spiked than not. Luckily I've heard of no worse outcomes than very bad hangovers...

my mum was the same , never got mad just wanted to know i was ok ,

even serves me to this day with the trust issue ,


theres been many a night were ive been out swinging or dogging and come bk and tell the family what ive been doing

id guess at the drink spiking,

but......if they could have had something else aswell, just hope the shock has opened her eyes if she did, it certainly would for me.

With you saying they couldn't stop giggling it sounds like someone spiked their drink with microdots.

 

There's a good chance her drink was spiked mate, seems to happen an awful lot nowadays. Don't see why she would of gone to hospital after knowingly taking something, kinda defeats the object of doing it, lol.

Best thing you can do is warn her to be careful etc..

If she'd taken acid she wouldn't have called an ambulance as she'd have known what was wrong with her. Do you know if your daugher called an ambulance for herself? In my experience drug takers don't call ambulances for themselves so I guess she must have been worried about the state she was in and therefore probably didn't know what she's taken - so her drink may have been spiked.

Not everyone laughs, its a different trip for everyone. Shrooms is a gigglier trip as the visual/audio shit going on isnt as intense.

She was probably spiked id say, depends on who she is really and what crowd she hangs about with if it were to be something else.

See if it happens again is your best bet.

never been spiked myself but she's a pretty lass with probably with a pretty friend and a prime target for some letch in the background, very possibly that she was just unlucky and got spiked mate hope all stay's well for you though /

P.s it's quite common for friends to do it to you for a laugh too i know it's wrong but they think it's funny to watch you twisted heard of that before off people too.
