Default Gasless welders

Hi folks,
Are they any good. I can mig weld and am looking into getting a welder but im unsure yet what sort to go for. It will be used just for car body repairs, light restoration stuff on my vw camper. Are the gasless ones and good or should i avoid?
Cheers,
Muffster.
