Default enabling USB port? (plus font required) can u help?

my works pc has a USB port but it doesnt seem to work?

is there a way to enable it in the bios settings or something?


also im after helvetica font - but cant find it on freedownload anyone know where i can get it? as it doesnt seem to be in my windows list on this PC and I need it. ta.

there should be a bios setting for usb to be enabled. what OS are you using? not all support usb

Do you have the driver for the USB installed. Check "Device Settings" which you can get through "System" on the "Control Panel" menu. See if it is enabled.

Each font appears as what looks like a text document in a folder. If you can find it on one machine then put it on disk and put it onto the other. I had to do this once but am currently searching my machine for where it might be as I can't remember

im on NT

and dont have device settings - only devices but thats just a weird list of driver sort of names and hardware without listing whats what like the device manager type thing.

dont know if driver is installed or not.

NT or win 95 dont support usb im afraid. Any other OS would be ok. wounder!

also if it's win98 it has to be second edition to support USB iirc.
