are there any difference in the springs that fit FRST/xr2i etc compared to ones that fit the fiesta diesel struts? im looking to lower the fiesta shortly but need to know im not going to buy lowering springs for to fit an XR/RS and then they wont fit up to the struts the same.

They will physically fit but think you'll find the spring rates themselves too low to cope with the heavier diesel engine. A Mate fitted lowered xr2i springs to his mk3 diesel van and it sat far too low and just wallowed all over the place.
