i heard that chelsea cruise on this saturday

is it any good and worth going to , had mixed views on it

 

Used to go back in the day early 90's, will take a run down there again at some point but when the weather is warmer

im too young to remember it just from wot i been told

 

used to be the best cruise in the land before it became a car park event in battersea park ,as soon as people thought a cruise was all about stereos in the late 90s and not the cars itself I stopped going ,miss the days of the american muscle cars as they were awesome

 

i remember the days like funny drags cars would turn up and off load leave some blackeys load up and go. Them were the days when i had a 1600 sport mk2. No chavs capris jacked up with lots of fir in my day and rs2000s mexes and american muscle

 

is this still going? overheard a conversation about it last week and just remembered they mentioned its today but i dont know

i live 80 miles away so not easy to go and check

 

I went last night in my Q8 3 door, it was ok, a bit of allsorts, some proper open wheeled rods to GT500 mustangs, lots of mk2 escorts and anglias!!

 

Nothing now like it used to be as I used to enjoy this cruise as much as going to a proper show,I started going in the very late 70s,80s & 90s,Now all the boys with the classy american 57 chevys and mustangs would not waiste the fuel going ,as its chavtastic now and all about how loud the frickin stereo is not the car nor its performance

 

Agreed, the bike nights were awesome back then too

 

hell yeah bike nights on the friday were crazy
