Long story short, got sick of looking for a set of reasonable EsCos wheels for under £400, and got sick of driving on buckled wheels, these kahns came up cheap, so i bought them. there a bit ruff, but i gave peanuts for them, so they will do for the time being. but i dont know if i like them, maybe its becasue my other wheels were black and blended in with the car, but these seem to stand out like a sore prick, or is it just me ?











Opinions please ?

 

Paint 'em Black pal, be miles better, much moodier.

 

Not keen on black wheels . i like five spokeslook good. all to there own

i think the wheels look mint mate they look better than the ones u had and also i like them in silver too. Im not keen on black wheels. Why follow a trend like everyone else does.keep then looking silver.

 

they dont look as good as the old ones fiddy but paint em black and will look miles better

They're ok, I've seen far worse to be honest!

I think MK2 Mondeo's need 18s really though to be honest, due to the size of the arches!

Focus RS wheels would suit it nicely too

 

think i have to agree with that mind focus rs 18"s would look sweet

They could do with a refirb neil, if/when I get it done, I'll probs go black again, I got used to it on black wheels, although when I first the black wheels, i thought it was a bit to much black, but they defo grew on me. Hence asking for opinions, as i'm biased toward black wheels.

 

They are mate there 17's. You really need 18's if not 19's on a Mondy, but as I said, I paid peanuts for them.

deffo need's 18's and lowering tbh personally think 5 spokes are a bit bland however how about painting them anthracite, good compromise between silver and black maybe?

mondeos need lots of spokes, 5 spokes dont work im afraid , even if you paint themblack they to flat for the shape of the car

 

16" ST 4 spoke turbines would look better IMO

 

Dont like them mate, and there an inch smaller

you and glenny belly have both got a hatred of black wheels rich. i reckon you should paint your ST rims black


And its defo getting lowered mate, 100%, ill have to book it in at glenns dads house, as i need his dads garage, and glenns tools

 

It'll need to go LOW to pull off 17s mate.

They always sit lower at the back than the front when lowered with just springs mate, so im planning -50mm front -40mm rear.

 

here's one for ya,paint em gold and ring it,or get some comps or rl7's and paint em anthracite

 

I just don't see the point of buying an expensive set of alloy wheels, then painting them black so they look like shitty steels! Anthracite looks cool, but definately no darker IMO!
