MFI stg3+ ported and polished big valve head, comes with kent 'race' solid lifter camshaft with RS1600i adjustable solid tappets & Bronze valve guides...it had done around 1500-2K miles before I stripped the car. on a ZVH it was making 265@wheels (close to 300bhp@fly)

st3 head from burton is £591 and the camshaft is £162, and im sure the tappets (which are like new) were around 15 quid each from ford when they were available!

Can you advise me what size the valves are and wether your running sodium filled or stainless steel valves and if the seats are hardened and 3degree angled?
and who done the porting and flowing?

Sure the valves are Stainless, will need to check the sizes of them, possibly 42 or 45mm? also not sure on 3 degree/angled...The work was carried out by 'blane precision engineering' up here in Scotland.

This head to buy new would be £873, its less than half price and has only done 2K miles!!

 

Would you sell without cam?would my piper 285 t2 cam be ok with it?Will it be ok on 1600cc with piper cam and stage 3 t3?Would you post if so how much.Sorry for questions mate.

 

Would preffer to sell as a whole atm mate, the solid lifters would be no use for your camshaft so i'd need to keep them also and tbh Prob wouldnt sell the head without cam/lifters for less than £350. I imagine shipping would be around £30 due to weight?

Cheers James, I was going to keep it and use it on my ZVH but I sold the bottom end and can't really justify keeping this to put on a standard engine.
