Right ive been building my van now for a few years and wanted to go down the efi route, so a few years back i sold my chipped ecu and fuel management.
Im thinking about putting it back to standard but cant remember which type of ecu it was?(red,black,blue or whatever).
However i think the loom was from a g plate and it does have the green knock sensor on the inlet.
So i believe(tell me if im wrong) that narows it down to one of the two later spec ones?
Is there anyway i can tell from stickers on the loom or pins in the connector??
Any help would be much appreciated.

i think thats the hearts an diamonds ecu with the knock sensor mate def one of the later ones

 

my loom has the knock sensor, but I run an earlier ecu, early s2 iirc, knock sensor was unplugged when I got it.

All my mfi is starting to be removed now

 

i imagine it'll be hearts and diamonds. i mite have ecu at my mates house i can get hold if you wanna try that mate??

 

Cheers for the offer mate im quite a long way off needing it yet just wanna know what one it is for future reference. ill bear that in mind though.
