I mean everytime I come in here now its just full of usless posts about utter shite with little to no relevence to...well anything at all. It used to be a buzzy area full of loads of useful info which now seems doninated by people with ropey old RST's and a grand in their back pocket wanting to take over the world.

I know you could say "well, if you don't like it, then don't come in and read the posts" but thats exactly what I find myself doing, which is a shame as theirs alot of knowledgable people and some good info here.

can 400hp be done

Yes your right seems everyone these days buys cheap rs turbo's and then come on here and ask stupid questions. Makes you wonder why they bought 1 if there where gonna complain and have no knowledge.

I have alot of mates that have moved on to cossies or different marques, im one of them my rst's days are long gone. Still like them but will never own another.

There was this penis asking how to make your turbo whistle louder without fitting a bigger turbo.
So i said you can buy a dog whistle (the high pitched ones) from pets at home and then when his turbo comes on boost he could blow it really hard and get his desired level of turbo whistle!

Now i thought this was hilarious and thought others would agree but god no! I was bombarded with comments like i was an immature prick, unhelpful etc! Nothing about the dick who asked the stupid pissing question in t5he first place! Stuck up Audi drivers.

That is the tip of the ice berg though. These people spend many hours surfing the internet trying to find things like the best LEDs to light up their rear number plates then have in depth disscussions on it! I inserted my special blend of post and they all never posted on the subject again! LOL. I think the realisation of how sad a grown man has to be to discuss such things.

To be honest i think it is only a handful of people who screw it up with gash posts, trouble is like muz said all the useful/technical threads get lost, or people reply to the crap ones (because its sooooo tempting) and forget the genuine ones.

Was shit to start with, but now every one has stopped responding to bellend questions, and no one mentions 300 brake. Some parts are okay when decent people post.

I guess its just too easy to slate people who start shocking threads, really we just shouldn't reply.....

 

this room used to be one of the least bitchy room on this forum but over the last year it has turned in to a willy waveing contest with people quoeting there times and bhp at any given opportunity. not all of us want a 300bhp rst mines standard and im pretty happy with it tbh if i wanted a faster car id buy something quick to start with. i think the way it is stops alot of users posting genuine threads queries etc. all imo

 

My new one is standard apart from magnex exhaust with 3' tailpipe, best way for them to be m8.

 

ive had mine 5 years in standard form. i love it and is very reliable

 

Thats the trouble with rst's and there owners (well 50%) of them are chavs lol

 

i havnt been a member on here that long and my rs hasnt run since iv owned it but i find that most of the peeps on here are really helpful and no there stuff!im new to fords and my car would still b in bits without some of the help from people on here!!!i just ignore all the bo***x about bhp and chasing numbers because in my experience most people that talk about them wouldnt no what to do if they had them!il be happy when my rs runs !!

im not chasing 1000000000000000000000000000000 bhp! or anything like my RS is 99% standard and i like it this way! im off to motorsport developments next month to get set up back to standard. the only thing is i have had a fair bit of trouble with it since i got it! and i may have asked questions on here that have been asked millions of times before! BUT even if i have asked quetions that have been answered before i have found everyone very helpful anyway!

i agree with the nutty comments off 5/6/700 bhp etc etc! just stoopid!


SOOOOOO to sum up, all you that do answer sensible questions that genuanly help people who dont know as much as you please dont stop! cause i know you guys have helped me lots!!

Definately wasn't like this 12 months ago with all the shit threads in here and the endless pages of bollocks, arguing about bhp etc. Probably why the people with any knowledge rarely bother posting these days!

 

the thing is even a sensible thread turns off topic, and the person who has asked for help or info in the first place, dont always get what they ask for
