stupid pipe question

Default stupid pipe question

i no this is a stupid question and il apologise in advance!!!i stripped my rs engine about 6 months ago and have taken so long to get all the bits and re build it its daft !its all rebuild and went back in last sat and i know where most things go BUT .... i cant remember where two pipes go!On the back of the block where the oil filter screws on there is a plate with two pipes/hoses coming out of the top one long one short but i cant see or find anywhere where they go to???please help!im SOO close to having it running!

I think........ but could be wrong, the sandwich plate is water cooled???? so the pipes may link into the cooling system, could also be a take off for gauges etc? I will be under the rs this weekend so if you don't have an answer by then i will let you know, a pic would help..... Rob,

yea its the cooler unit that the oil filter bolts to!iv looked everywhere but cant see them!im looking thro past engine build posts but no one takes pics of the back of there block!!(why would they)!

rst's dont have a separate oil cooler do they?

iv spend the day plumbing my engine back in and have everything done and all wired up except one thing : where should the fifth pipe go that comes out of the metering unit?the first four go into the manifold (one per cylinder) but i cant see/find anywhere for the fifth pipe!!would have been running today if not for this pipe!
sorry for the stupid questions but this is my first rst!bought as a non runner and stripped about 6months ago!(partly by someone else)!any help will be gratefully received!!

Default fuel line

the fifth red pipe is the cold start injector pipe.
look under the middle of the inlet manifold should go into there.
