thats what i thought, so these are no good for a low comp bottom end (am i right)???

Low comp is made from the pistons. The bottom end doesn't matter

it is the correct part number for OE +0.5mm RST pistons. as to whether standard pistons are cast or forged????
Mahle call it "Autothermatik/Hydrothermatik® piston" rather than "Forged" as they describe the cossie ones..

well i thought you needed forged pistons for low comp as they are better for the job in hand

Mahle make standered Ford RST pistons
But there around a £100 each

Nothing specail about them but well worth £150

mahle make std cast for xr3,2,2i,etc etc at 9.5:1, and rst/cossie forge 8.0-8.3:1.

do you know wot they were?
