hi i wonder if any 1 on here can tell me where to get a new coil pack for a small turbo escort cosworth i have been to 2 diffrent motorfactors and both have given me the wrong 1 any 1 knw where to get 1 thanks

You can get one for a dohc I4 engine (2 litre or 2.3) that is found in the transit, galaxy , rs2000 mk+mk6 escort and scorpios. The pack itself is the same but you have to pull the rubber spark plug connecting boot from the cosworth one and swap it with the I4 one.

 

I got a genuine bosch rs2000 escort one for 28 quid.

 

Get rid of them and run a single coil like the XR2i FRST. Easy mod and well worth it.
The coil on plug from old motors always fail even on the RS2k.
