Default What is the best thing to do to my RST engine

I have a Rst engine from a 92 fiesta, just wondered what was they best route to go to get the most out of it? Is it worth doing a zvh? Sorry to sound silly but a bit new to this.

How much power and torque do you want?
How much money do you want to spend?

as above really if sticking with the cvh then do the t3 conversion and a set of beige injectors maybe add a piper 285t cam and then get a suitable chip set up to your spec, that should liven it up quite alot.

there is endless things you can do alot of people do the full zetec conversion but a zvh is another cheaper option i suppose and gets good results. personally if id of got my rs turbo that i wanted the zvh route was the way i was going

Depends on your budget and what you want. To be honest I wouldn't bother with ZVH as unless you spend good money on the head teh power vanishes at about 5500rpm. CVH or full Zetec turbo every time.

There is loads you can do with the CVH to make a very quick car

How much you want to spend, and what power you want are the deciding factors in which way to go. Don't forget that the engine build is the cheap bit, it is making the rest of the car good enough to cope with it that is going to cost. Anything over 200Bhp is going to be very expensive if you want it to be reliable, the biggest problem is the gearbox.
