Chingford's full of old people asking stupid questions, When I install washing machines and try and explain that the little screen tells them how long the wash is going to take it blows their brain lol
i have been told that they did used to as the hydraulic fluid tastes sweet... cant see them chewing through copper or steel though... just get him to put some pipe guard/conduit on the flext hoses and that might get him to stop worrying... you can get the Braided Mesh on its own from somewhere... then just ty-wrap it each end!
