I just bought some new studs off ebay i think they were only a tenner for the set, i read on here about some one trying to press the studs straight in and it cracked the hud so i drilled mine out a touch and pressed them in.

mark.

yeah my hub cracked due to the bloke not drilling the threads out enough, so make sure u drill out enough clearance and then press, otherwise sourcing a single piece of a single hub is just hassle

i just got a hub stud and nut conversion kit of ebay too for extra safety best to thread lock the studs in to the hub.

And before the health and safety officer appears.....
i have done loads of track days with coilovers lots of horses and rose joints race poly bushes and had no problems of any signs of movement stretching or other such nonsense.

I am sure i asked if they could supply specific length thread and pitch for mine as needed longer than standard fitment stud. I don't think i even said what car it was for, i can't remember the details of measurements tho.

I think I'll just go down my local Ford dealer and buy 4 studs and 4 alloy wheel nuts (only want 1 per hub, make fitting wheel easier) off a Focus.

Thanks for the help lads,Micky

i drilled all the holes out with 12.5mm drill bit bought new studs from ford (speed shack also sell diff sizes ones) got a steel nut and air gun to pull them through the holes

easy stuff

think you can buy a kit with reverse thread tho so no drilling but its abit dearer
