There has been a few posts like this in the past think the Ahmed springs gave a good ride quality and height, give Mike at R&B a shout and he will sort you out. If you go for GAZ coilovers get them from Chris ( cossymad ) on here he specs them with a different spring rate that give a better ride.

This is mine on Koni's & Ahmed springs. Got them from Mike R.
You will have to adjust the front spring cups as they foul the front wheels if you have ET18 8.5x18" on 225,40ZR18.

its not so much the '-20mm' drop or whatever the ahmed springs claim to be, dont be fooled into thinking you need a specific drop.

the escos needs to be at a certain height front and rear to enable them to still squat to a slight level, to have the correct roll points to handle correctly, and the ahmed springs achieve this perfectly, matched with a set of Koni's and you will find they will give a much better road feel, overal drive and handling ability than the entry budget level of Gaz coilovers at £500.

but as said, if you do go for Gaz coilovers, order them thru Chris oe Mike as they spec the springs slightly different, Gaz spec them ridiculously hard.

prices here http://www.randbmotorsport.co.uk/shop/Parts.asp?ID=5

now get yourself over to www.escortrscosworth.com

As Kelv said its aroud 10 to 15mm lower.

I bought them well over a yr ago now, its was under £500 all in from memory but that was a while ago. Well worth doing if your on standard stuff, that and Poly bush the front end.

I only think that rear springs are a little bit too hard , but I prefer to have it a little bit hard at the beginning that have eibach -25 wich become -40 for years
