Default buying a t3/t4 turbo

hi i want to buy this t3/t4 turbo off turbo revs on ebay and was wondering if it will bolt straight on or will i need some mods. my car has a standard rst turbo on it at the moment. this is the link to the turbo i want to get http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT, thanks craig

it says it will bolt straight on if your car comes with a t3 which s2s do, but i would be a bit dubious as to how long a turbo that cheap will last

Will be stupidly laggy too...cheap T3/T4 or T3/04 turbo's are junk most of the time especially off the bay.

.63 housing, stage 3 Cossie's run that

buy turbonetics from me. ball bearring, much better, less lag, more power etc...

the one in your link is shitty turbo, china made. this turbo is for a week only. it will dye maybe sooner even.

i'll not comment on quality as i've heard some of these can last a while and some minutes.
what i will say is that it will be very laggy indeed, the compressor housing will foul the erst manifold and so you'll either need a spacer or to shave the manifold and compressor housing with a grinder.
also, you'll need to change the wastegate part of the housing for the rst one as that one in the pic has a saab style flange, unless you get a new down pipe made.

IMO a cossie 2wd/4wd turbo is far more suitable and then use a cossie style flanged down pipe and it'll flow a lot better than the erst one will anyways.
