any pics of these fitted and where can i get one from wat other cars did they come in just want the console so i can move my stereo

 

I would imagine orion ghias may have had them, iirc my old bosses mhad ! back in the day

 

if you put a stereo in the Amp place, it wont sit and fit flush. it'll move about and slide.
Plus it'll rattle, the amp isnt the same size as a stereo.

 

I've got the amp in mine although I've been searching for a year to get the tape holders that fit below it...

 

Thats a sierra / Granada amp.

Orions had different ones. (not a great picture though sorry) Its like an amp + equaliser. its not connected in mine though.

Re the "That's a Sierrra/Granada amp." It's identical to the one that was in my pal's Orion 16i Ghia. The Sierra Granada one has a lip along the top edge. (I have one of these also as I had to buy it to get the connecting cable and the standard radio/cassette.)

its a 1600E dash. its wood lol. it looks pants now and horribly dated. so i painted it.

 

i dont have one sorry. i've looked in my shed but only have the tape holder one, thats just a big hole lol.

 

Fair enough mate, didn't know that. i've only ever seen orions with the 16e amps.
