Default jenvey throtle bodies - sounds too good to be true!

was looking into a set of jenvey throttle bodies for the fiesta and noticed these on ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jenvey-Quad-Th...item45f026c5b5

i know im normally sceptical but that is a bloody good deal, any one else think its too good to be true?

what safe guard would i have if i got some and put it through paypal onto my credit card? would i be double safe or would it all go tits up with the credit card?

I think they're actually more expensive than buying from jenvey themselves?

The worry I would have is, will there be an import tax on these? Secondly can you trust the seller?

PS: there is no real 'cheap' way to do TBs..as they are the same price as mine was.. it still cost £2k to do it properly when you include the ECU and all ..

came to £1564 with a £135 discount from emerald... so yeah, allow 2k i'd say to do it.
+ mapping. (although if you were to get emerald ECU it comes with a very good base map for zetecs)

EDIT: no, mine are the twin TBs.. in a very fetching shade of bright red lol.

i saw this yesterday and thought the same. checked his feedback and it doesnt reflect this item and all seem to be 'get rich quick' type purchases... i asked him for a price for a mf03 manifold, he replied, and price was cheaper than here too....even with a 10% discount at jenvey....i would investigate first.....maybe some of the greek guys on here know of em.

everything listed in the ad....no injectors. what do you mean existing holes????
there are injector holes in the throttle body to line up with rail and associated mounts.....why would you want to use different ones??

Guys, we do Jenvies and our V4 ECU supplied, fitted and mapped for £1,880 INCLUDING VAT!

Thats a drive in/drive out service with before and after dyno plots. We supply all parts required in that install if the car is currently a runner (i.e it has the basics like a fuel pump lol!)

Have a look around PF for the quality of our work, it's all gravy :P

Matt

PS those are the TB type. He has the wrong picture. We can supply similar kit for £600+VAT which includes linkage.... or £1,100+VAt which includes our latest V4 ECU premapped for 170bhp on a blacktop, 190bhp if you have FOCUS3 KENT cams, or 155bhp if fitting to a 1.8 etc
