Taken at Aushwitz/Birkenau Death camp in Poland........ The tracks that led 4 million Jews to there death's

 

for some reason i like that photo..strangely haunting

 

heres mine..my boy 8 hours old coming home.

 

 

This is my one picture of my year, the one pic that sums up 2009s trip to Amsterdam. Been my desktop since Feb 09.

All the things need to see the beautiful city that is amsterdam.

But this is no comparison to that very moving pic of Aushwitz or that pic of the joy that must be having you lil one a few hours old. But its my pic of the year, just bring all the memories of sharing it with my best mates.

 

I took this panoramic from Aiguille du Midi in the French alps. It is an impressive view from 3842m(12,600ft).

 

Here is mine, it's my 3 yr old after spending 5 months in hospital fighting Leukaemia and then having a bone marrow transplant, she never stopped smiling. Bravest little girl in the world.

great pictures guys and the concentration camp really hits me but to lighten the mood its great to see that the little kids always rasie your spirits new born for brian but especially nugnah great to hear she is ok now mate great story that she all is good noe

 

Wonder how many clowns post up more than one picture.

Chalet Bike park?

 

Dont really have a photo of the year........like most I wish I had more time to take the camera out. I did however take it into work one day a few months back and got this one, straight of the camera etc

 

blimey looks good what lens did you use ?

 

Just kit lens (18-55mm) with a 350D at 24mm, tripod/remote, ISO-100, 16 sec exposure, f3/5.

Came out to a burst main the other day and it was freezing, literatly! As the cars where going by and splashing the water up the side of the hedge it was frezzing instantly

Got my first house, started renovating it, removed a gas fire - thats the flue out of the back of it.

that kind of implies photos that you have taken yourself, as people into photography generally take photos
