How much money and what will it take to get my escos to 500bhp?
Heres a quick spec now- mongoose exhaust, k&n filter, rs500 intercooler, -31, 3bar map sensor, Grp A cambelt, headgasket and breather, uprated t34 with 360 thrust bearing, msd chip, wasted spark. roughly 380 bhp. turbo is 32psi which im told is max boost. cheers, dave.

 

engine strip down long stud the block new pistons and rebore l and b the crank and rods new oil pump

wrc hg ported head new inlet cam spacer in the plenum 83 lb injectors gt 30 turbo
new rad new or modded intercooler new hoses clutch??
then box diffs etc etc the above is minimum spec and could go a lot further
id say arount 6k for engine with mapping if you did it yourself or about 10 k for a tuner just the engine spec alone...

if you gotta ask how much walk away now

 

Get a lancer evo they will 500 hp very easy.

 

A fuck load of money 10k for a decent transmission set up alone

And cost a bucket full of cash to maintain and obtain parts as the parts aint cheap, also known to break from time to time too

i bet at 380bhp its still a fast car at the spec it is now


so why would you want to go chasing numbers for a load more problems

 

Yep. Once you've done the engine build, new turbo, new clutch, new ECU... Dead easy!

 

buy another car that can make 500 bhp easier.
you may aswell burn your money if it was done all new.
