Nice carbys, what size 45's ?, with 36 chokes ?
I've always been into Delorto's myself the dhla's, but they are both similar, were designed by the same person.
I do hope you are not using the engine killer gauze trumpets, and that engine defo needs moving as it won't work well where it is!!

will 45s not be a bit too small for a hpe pinto?
thought they usually ran their engines on 48s or 50s? (could well be wrong though!)

Yes mate 45's with 36 chokes (for now) , just sold a pair of 45 dellorto's
The gauze filters are quite good, behind the big gauge gauze is a much finer gauge gauze (try saying that while pissed...lol), I ran the dellorto's for 12 months without any probs

Engine going in car when weather gets a bit warmer

The engine did originally come with 50's but didnt need these for what want the car for , Ive spoken to ron harris himself and he says for what i use the car for it will be better off on 45's

Oh, what a lovely pair.

They will make a great "roar" attached to that Harris lump.
