Hi if any techys or mechanics are about tht maybe familiar with please help, on my mates Nissan Primastar 1.9td , just took me to footy in it this eve and its dangerous to be honest, on idle she,ll rev hard ok, soon as u select 1st gear it goes into a serious limp mode type thing, it drives fine on the motorway n pulls low down but around town its severly lagging then will 'catch' n pic up as normal. He said he replaced few bits, egr valve and airmass sensor, my friend reckons it could be a clutch sensor but ive never heard of one so thought i,d post up............... cheers for readin btw i,d rather it be a Transit lol, anyway merry xmas n good luck to all in 2010
ps the clutch itself doesnt seem to be slippin or smelling, it definately behaves as an ECU or sensor problem.
