I went to look at it about May time, was £7995 then im sure.

Wheels scrubed the bodywork.

A few other bits i wasn't happy with

The car did go well.

No way would i pay what this owner wants unless he has done a lot of work to the car.

Have you noticed the common denominator in all the 3 doors that have there rear arches filled properly?
They are all fitted with Compomotives

yer I doubt the figures especially with bd10's. I bet the torque has been lost too.
The t34 .63 is a nice turbo and can make 400-420. But thats at high 30's psi and they dont last long. I expect if it was put on rollers it would be around 380.

4 paddle clutch is a no no, they are shit don't last long and horrible to drive.
Everything else seems spot on, long studded 200 block etc.
I dont think its overpriced too much, It's got big ap brakes on dont forget !

If the paints good and theres no rust then i think its worth £9k . Remember saphs are crazy money at 7k-8k. It's not a bad car just a few things id have to change.

It's a funny one this. I think it has been on Ebay about eight times in the last three months with a couple of different usernames selling. It looks OK so must have some hidden suprises that have put buyers off once the auction has ended. Take care!

Its not dodgey, well not when i viewed it.

Its just not a 9.5k car with what needs sorting on it

When i viewed it i felt i would need to spend at least another 2k on it and it was for sale at £7995 at the time.

This post is spot on, IMO.

A friend of mine owned this car for 10 years before he sold it about 6 months ago for around £7K.

The bodywork needed a bit of tidying - MINOR dents and scrapes, NOT rust, and it needed a front screen, and ideally a front grill (a couple of the top mounting tabs were broken).

If the current owner has had the bodywork tidied and a front screen, and replaced most of the suspension bushes, it would be a good spec car for £8K.

PS when the car was sold, it had a T34.55, it isn't long studded, it had a Alcon 6 paddle, and the front brakes aren't water cooled.
