Default Intermittent blower P100

Hi All,

I own a Sierra P100, The blower has a mind of its own and when switched on will on only work every now and again for a few seconds at a time. Not great in the frost/snow trying to clear the screen! Does anyone know what the problem might be? I have looked for a Haynes manual for the P100 but struggle to find one that includes the P100 1.8td. Any help would be really much appreciated.
Matt

might be a dodgy switch or lose wire but its quite common on older cars an stuff for the blower motor to have worn bushes. i'd check the switch an wiring first though.. if it turns out the motor has the bushes worn then ya can put new bushes in most of them.. don't quote me on that though, some motors don't come apart, but being that your p100 is older i'd say it can be done easy enough

i would check connections first cause it could be a dodgey connector.

I wouldn't worry about a manual that covers the engine you have as the heater fan circuit will be the same across the lot.
I too would be looking for a dodgy connection, leave igntion on, fan on max, and have a good wiggle, you will hopefully soon find it, check the fuse also is securem and not got crap all over it where it contatcs the terminals in the fusebox.
