Question bucket seat fitting safety info needed

can any body tell me if the slots in the back of the seat for harnesses should be above, level with, or below your shoulders when sat in it as i have the oppertunity to get a pair of bucket seats but when im sat in them the slots in the back are about 3 to 4"s below my shoulders im 6,3" so im a lanky twat

The slots in mine are just above my shoulders iirc, i am shortass mind lol! Never really thought about right or wrong but wouldn't have thought it'd be very comfortable with the harnesses having to go up and over your shoulders, most likely not a big problem though, never heard of seats with the option of higher slots though only wider bases....

in theory, they should be slightly below your shoulders as they then hold you down and back. :thumbs:

although a little either way does not make much difference!

i was just worried in an accident head on as you move forward the harness would to some degree squash you down compressing your spine this is what im thinking anyway not sure if im right or wrong
