Default fu\.,; im gutted

Just gone in the garage and a full bottle of anti freeze had fallen on to the bonet of the mint escort cosworth i am so pissed off dont know how it happend.So the bonet will have to be painted next year it had a spray job around 6 years ago how do they get the perfect match dont want to spray the whole car ,thats how fussy i am.

is it only the bonnet?
what colour?
shouldnt be to hard to blend in

Imperial blue but it has had a respray 5 or 6 years ago.

Essentially its a deliberate act of overspraying, so they carry the new colour onto the old paint either side.

well all cars iv seen the bonnet colour doesnt match a 100%
but that colour is easy to blend in

They should flick over the wings to blend it at the very least. A good painter will get it right and you won't tell

take the filler cap or wing mirror off and get a colour match at your local painters

when it painted and blended in with the wings you should be able tell if its done right so good luck mate

it depends, if its central on bonnet a painter will be able to loos the basecoat feathering in the bonnet without going to edges and then laquer whole bonnet, if thats the case it will just be a bonnet repaint
