Default Rebuild RS Turbo wont start

Alrite guys ive just rebuilt my 1989 s2 escort rs turbo and it wont start, cranks over fine enough and getting a spark aswell as fuel to metering unit, have heard it run for a bit then died, has anyone got labeld pictures or diagrams of where injector lines go onto metering head as mine are braided and can go anywhere its just a k - jetronic so i know there is an order, i have been told 2 different sparking orders aswell so can someone tell me whats going on with that and where they go on dizzie? and anything else you can think of that may stop it from starting would be a boost aswell as this problem has kept me off the road 3 days now and its annoying
thanks

Start with the injectors from left to right (as you look at them):

Injector 1 - Front Right on metering unit
Injector 2 - Front Left on metering unit
Injector 3 - Back Left on metering unit
Injector 4 - Back Right on metering unit

Hope this helps!

hi doesnt matter what order the fuel lines go on the metering head. try getting someone to crank her over and you hold the metering flap down a tiny bit i had the same problem my was running 9.99%+ fuel when on an emissons machine when it should be 3% on 900rpm (tick over) if you get stuck give me a ring 07891 704931

Agreed but it's best if they're in the right order as the pipes are 'cut' to length and avoids kinks, over stretching etc. I have found this pic from another thread which i hope helps.

1342 anti clock wise looking the dizzy cap. Set engine to TDC and remove cap, rotor arm will be pointing to number 1. Go from there.
