I usually go for dinner, eat then fuck straight off out to work on the Cossie/Randomly drive about or whatever. Im not exactly Mr Christmas..

I'm on call with the gritting wagons so i cant drink, thats the only downside really. Meh, could be worse!

I love christmas for kids, but as for all the adults getting excited and spending shit loads of wedge for 1 day, i just cant really see the point

Im not a little kid, and i dont have kids so thats no fun. Im 22 so presents are shit.


Ive been at work 7-7 today so i aint in the christmas spirit at all! All the other useless fucking departments like sales, R+D, admin, accounts, management, QA, (and pretty much every fucker apart from our department, systems) went home at 1pm.

Im working tomorrow 7-1 , go to rents for a roast and then nothing.

 

As a jedi i have opted out of christmas for ever, why should i celebrate the birth of jesus when i am not a christian

if i had kids i guess i would have no choice though

 

I could quite happily hibernate from now until jan 2nd, its not that i dont like christmas, i just hate all the family politics that goes with it, if it was just me and the missus, and i had nothing else to worry about, that would suit me fine!

As for new year, cant stand it!!

 

Its crap that its just funerals, weddings and christmas that people make an effort.

If I said that there was a major pi55up at mine, free beer bbq blah blah SOME would turn up, yet if there is a death or a wedding EVERYONE would turn up.

I guess its just how things are...

I suppose I'm the same, if there was a pi55up at at mates house, I would try to go, but maybe I want to chill at home. Yet if there was a funeral or wedding, I'd be more inclined to go.

But its the ONLY time the WHOLE family gets together and it shouldnt be like that I guess...

 

I hate xmas now. I put on ab rave face about it but a lot of my family has passed away in the last 3 years and its pretty shite now

 

We haven't put a xmas tree up this year, Dad's been ill and we just generally don't 'do' christmas anyway....

Off to my brothers later for a massive dinner, Should be good I guess.

Just got back from my mums - lovely bit of dinner as always, but now home and ready for a kip. Got a few bits and pieces, nothing that I needed or indeed exciting so rather people would have saved their money but you can't seem ungrateful can you !

Mrs is on her way soon with presents, so see what pointless crap she turns up with eh !
