cosworth build for Mk1 race car
bit slow over inthe old school section thought Id post up the new engine in here
For the car its going in check this link:
https://passionford.com/forum/old-sk...-dec-09-a.html
Its been a while collecting parts but here is the engine. freshly rebuilt
200 block 0.25 oversize, Mountune long studs, ACL tri metal bearings, balanced everything, new cosworth head, mountune older wrc spec mountune cams, double valve springs, modified spring platforms, light porting ets etc etc. Only aiming for an easy 350/350 as it only weights 800ish kgs and I am limited on wheel size due to class regulations.
Photo of pistons. clearance goo and a gasket

A picture inside the bottom end. with an uprated oilpump

Front end all timed up and complete

Looks good in black, It took ages to convince Piper to let me have different coloured pulleys. I like it!

Yep, Looks good in black

Really good in black!

Cheers,
JP
