quick question,bought my daughter a nintendo dsi from america as you cannot buy a pink one in the uk.my ex wife is now saying it does play english games is this true do i need to convert something to get it to play uk games or is she just talking crap to rubbish me to my bairn

 

A US DSi will play UK DS/DS Lite game carts.

A US DSi will not be able to download and play UK DSiWare games (these are downloaded through the DSiWare application which will be available to download to your DSi soon).

A US DSi will not be able to play DSi enhanced games (there are none yet).

Yeah, it'll play the normal UK game cartridges no bother. Compatibility issues with some other formats are usually only due to differences in TV screen resolutions or something along those lines in different areas of the world, but obviously with a handheld you don't get that problem as it has its own screen, lol.

Hence I bought my PSP from Japan when they first came out, but always hang on 'til they're out over here with the consoles.

i have a US NDS and yea it plays any games,tho you should get a naughty cart and have every game anyway.

 

i've got a r4 for my ds,the ex can buy the kids their own games,she got enough cash out of me to do so.
