i sold my mondeo rs to a southern irish fella who 15 years ago started collecting with his pal as many mk1 xr2's and supersports and mint low milers as possible and started filling barns at his farm full of them,he saw the way mk1 and 2 escorts went even then and he reckons he has some amazing cars,he has been in classic ford with some of them, lucky Irish fookers tucking them away.they reckoned in southern ireland according to their sources they know exactly how many certain fords are over there,i even sold a mk2 xr2 to a lad in ireland lad last year and had a few trying me.

yep i sold a left hooker cozzie to a well known southern irish ford geezer, thing is though James if you have loads of space i would buy the cheepest stuff that you think is going to go up,stuff like xr4i's,mk1 feestas,xr3's all in very good or original needing minor work and sensible or very low miles are the stuff to get now and sit on. cossies cost to much to do that really
There is no way it fired up on the third turn of the key after that amount of time because it wouldn't have been able to pull the fuel from the tank to the carb unless they were bloody long cranks
When I leave my capri sat for a year I have to run a fuel line from a jerry can to the fuel pump because it won't drag it from the tank when cranking
