I'm looking for somewhere nice to take the missus next year for a 7-10 day holiday..
The major bastid is that she's a teacher and can only go when the kids are off.. Now this gets right under my skin as the holiday companies price inflates by 50% just because the kids are off!
So it's either easter/spring half term/summer holiday.....
Even though there is just us two and no kids 90% of the companies hike the prices up....
With the Euro being bloody terrible at the minute was thinking about venturing further afield...
Has anyone got any ideas where we could go without incurring to much of a family/kids price increase? My cousin suggested going to Canada but what's in Canada? lol
Cheers, Smit.

Scotland!!!!!!! (sure that won't go down well)
Hmm tough one mate, I've got the same predicament with the Mrs aswell.
Either going to go to the states and visit my bro or Gran Canaria and pay the hefty prices. I went to Bulgaria before, but you have to make sure you stay in the best accomodation you can find, and i ran out of stuff to do, it was cheap though.

Tell u where to go mate, its cheap as chips too, usually get some good deals on all inclusive too, Sri Lankas south coast. If you look on a map between Galle in the Souh and Colombo theres lots of beach front resorts of differing standards. I stayed in sunils beach Resort in Hikkaduwa - if u sort a flight u can email Sunils and negotiate a decent deal too. Lovely place, lovely staff.
