can a boost controller 'reset itself' ??
ive got a gizmo ms-ibc fitted to my focus rs mk1
all was well untill earlier i put my foot down a little on the a19 and it only boosted to about half a bar.
on high setting before it was boosting to about 1.3 bar, mid setting was 1 bar and low setting was about half a bar, now on all settings its staying at half a bar
it diddnt shoot up then drop off as if the ecu boost cut came in as if it over boosted
its as if its reset itself to factory settings

never heard of it my self . they usually have a back up batt in em so they dont even when the main car batt is disconected . try hitting it with a hammer orks for me with most things
tried fiddling about with the manuel but isnt the best instructions...or maybey i am thick
dunno what i have done but its now boosting all over the place, the boost gauge is up and down. think ill take it to the bloke that fitted tomorrow.

Not sure with your particular set up but with dream science etc if you disconnect the battery for 10odd minutes then reconnect it leave it idling for 20 mins with everything on,then take it for a spin it should relearn!
