Default Most poinless button/feature your car has?

I didn't realise untill this morning that, apart from having the worst interior I've ever seen, my Scooby has this rather pointless button....

Yep thats right, it has a push button to adjust the brightness of the clock.

The thing is, it only dims the clock, nothing else, and even on a pitch black night the clocks glow isn't the least bit intrusive.

Any one got anything better?

Haha that's reminded me that my company car (Abarth 500 Essesse) has a sport button which stiffens th steering up and give you 10FT/LBS more tourque from 3k upwards the thing is the steering is so light in normal mode you have to keep it in sport anyway or is undrivable!

in my 328 there's a button with no labelling, and that seems to make no discernible differrence to how the car drives whether it's depressed or not!
sits between the leccy window controls for the front and rear.

That's to disable the rear leccy window switches so your kids dont climb out of the driving car or decapitate themselves...

Im sure that button locks the rear windows if kids are in the back etc...windows will still work from the front controls, but wont work from the back

i had a 95 24 valve ex police senator 5 speeed manual with full electric switches for the windows and manual winders, fookin tight arse bastards,i used to press the button for the windows and quickly remember it didn't have them .

the early lhd escort cosworths have a electric dial tilt for the headlights,it looks unusual because i have never seen the same early ones rhd with it. i have never used it and its a waste of time having one.

Does anybody actually use those hooks in the boot to tie things down? They always strike me as being particularly pointless.

- The cupholders in the old (1995 - 2000) Transit cause they were always broken

- level adjustable headlights: mandatory in all cars over here since 1990 but no one ever bothers to use them

My truck has one of those stupid handbrakes where you push the small pedal down to engage it. Pointless on an auto as you need to have it Park to take the key out!

Steering stalk in my focus with my aftermarket stereo...didn't bother fitting a stalk adapter

Also perhaps the quick clear front screen as all it seems to do on mine is drain about a thousand amps from the battery, dim everything, and doesn't even clear the screen that quick

My S-type has traction control. What a fucking joke. I usually have to turn it off in the ugly stuff. POINTLESS. "GOOOOOOOO damnit!" at least I can turn it off all the way unlike some Mercs and Bimmers.

The dynamic stability control however seems to NOT fight me when I counter steer or left foot brake it in the turns. That part of the ABS/TC/DSC works...
