Ive got a mk1 focus rs and need a new cd player as mine is fooked.

does any body know of a decent mp3 double din head unit that will be compatible ?

also the standard unit has rounded corners so a sqaure one would probs leave a gap....is there some sort ofsurround that will hide these gaps ?

 

focus is not the same size as double din mate...

you have to have it sitting in and a shitty gap round it unless your handy with the dremel and filler!

its 1.7-1.8 DIN so as matt says, you need a dremal and a steady hand!

If you want to go for the standard DIN sized headunit, then give me a shout as I have a couple of fascia adapters and looms here...and they are the fascia adapters that give you a pocket instead of the crappy blanking plate ones lol
