Default £120,000 Flight to "Space" Anyone

http://www.virgingalactic.com/

Thought this was a wind up but looks like it's a goer

Unbelievable Idea and surprised that's it's coming to completion

If one doesn't explode in the first 10 flights then i'll be amazed, the first few flights the passengers will have balls that's for sure

are you allowed to murder in space? as i assume no-one "owns" it therefore there are no rules?

i know that makes me sound a bit nutty but it just popped into my head

Seen this on the news this morning.

£120k isn't much i thought. Most premiership footballers (for example) could afford a go. Bankers, businessmen etc etc... it's not that far out of reach for alot of people!

I personally wouldnt go for £120. Space is something that scares me to death as i cant quite get my head round it.

Certainly within reach for many people though im sure. Its only a couple of weeks wages for some.

but why? Why put your life at risk for an adrenaline rush or to say you've been to space! I'd be waiting till it's had at least 100 trouble free flights before I went!!

i wouldve thought you could get away with murder in space tbh
is there not parts of the oceans were no laws apply? so you could basically get away with muder?

dunno tbh, easy to get rid of the evidence in space tho, throw them in one direction and they will just keep going at that speed forever

So if you murdered someone at 35,000 ft in a Boeing over International waters you could get away with it????

I'm pretty sure the plod will be waiting for you when you landed.

As with the spaceship 2 I'm sure it would take on the same jurisdiction as its country of origin.

I'm pretty sure If the aircraft is in international airspace or just space then the law of the country where the aircraft is registered applies.

maybe

I believe the laws of the ships country of origin would apply. Same as a murder in the middle of the sea

What if someone built a spacecraft on the moon? Its origin would be the moon?

Which has an American flag sticking out of it. The yanks claim sovereignty of the moon therefore yank laws would probably apply
