Default littlebram's S2. 2.1 zvh Mtx update

I have had this car about 4 years now and done everthink to the car myself with the help from my brother and ive never had a thread on it so i thought i would start 1.
When i got the car it was std and was'nt to bad but realy need painting. I had only painted 1 car before and it turned out ok so i thought i would give it another go.
I think my brother has put some pic's on before but i have sorted some more and i will put more on later when i load them up.
what do you's think

I will put some more pic's up from the engine rebuild and then some more to let you's see what i had done since i have had it.
hope you's like

After getting the car painted i then started rebuilding my engine. Before i took the car off the road i had a race with my mates A3 1.8 turbo and at 140 i ran out of fuel with was'nt good because i had no brakes and didnt give my car time to cool down. the next day when my car was cold the engine had a slight knock. So rebuild was needed. It felt abit slow anyway

block was rebord and skimmed then cleaned and painted. the crank had a regrind to .25 then lightened and balanced with the flywheel

Then had my con rods shot-peened lightened and balanced and my pistons skimed

Started on my head and other parts. Cleaning, painting and making them to how i wanted them

Before

after

Default update on the engine

once the engine was build we went to okc for a cheak up, justed needed the co's and tps ajusting and the boost turned up when run in. Jano said i could run up to 25psi and that would be about 270bhp and they was enuf fuel to run that but thats maxing the rods out so run about 20psi if you want it to last.

so when we got home the boost got turned up to 25psi

Nice matching of the conversion plate and the inlet ports. The conversion plate is made to be the max size you would want to port the inlet ports to, so when matched these two items work great! Would of been nice to use decent rods and pistons so you could make the most of the parts you have tho.

Default New engine build

Right started on my new engine, I finaly got a block with standard bore size after looking all over it turned out it was out of a S1 as i found out later
got the engine back and striped it and cleaned it up. then i took it up to the machine shop to get the block and crank sorted, after telling them what i wanted i then sent the head off and orded some pistons and rods.
When i got everthink back and my new parts i took the bottom end to work to build it up.
what do yous think

took the old engine out and had abit of a clean

Then off to work to build the bottom end (My tools are better at work than the ones ive got at home)

also got my head back its had abit work done to it.
new big valve head

just read all of this so far and the paint job looks awsome, shame about the engine but it always makes you go 2 ways, break it, or build a bigger and stronger engine , glad your doin the 2nd option! keep up the good work!
