No spark on my cossie, coil gets very hot, crank sensor ok. any hellp?

 

have u tried a different ignition amp it's bolted on the inner wing.

 

Had some thing like this ECU was the fault

 

r u getting a spark from the coil when u turn your ignition 2 position 2? if u r, u can forget your ignition amp and crank sensor. it's more than likely 2 be your rotor arm or phase sensor in your dissy. hopes this helps mate.

 

not getting a spark when on position 2 ignition. Have bought crank sensor and fitted it no different. Looks like ignition amp or ECU?

 

Use a test light and see if it flashes @ the coil switching wire, if it does then it's the coil. if it dont then my money is on the ignition amplifer.

 

tried new ignition amp and crank sensor, exactly the same!!!
Anyone else had this????
