my puma wont tick over properly. the revs r all over the place, they either wont sit in the same place or they start rising as soon as i stop????

the revs r stickin on whilst am divin 2 but if i touch the accellerator it sounds like the engine is floodin????

Sounds like an Idle Control Valve to me, could do with being replaced, a lot of Fords suffer from this!

 

As above but before you clean it or replace it, disconnect the MAF and see if it changes much.

 

cheers i'l have a look at it this afternoon, i thought it might of been that but i wasnt sure.

 

Also might be the VSS sensor on the gearbox, dead common fault

 

Could well be be BOTH needing a clean/new iscv and a VSS sensor.
