JB Weld
What it for?
I went n bought some araldite earlier n saw it, and recognised the name, but read the packet n wasnt 100% what its for?
Is it a REALLY strong filler, or a REALLY strong glue, or both? Or?
The yank writeup on it seemed to contradict itself.
Is it better than araldite if it is a glue? They about the same price...

JB Weld is the brand, there's different types of product, but basically it's an adhesive.

Stronger than araldite you think? That stuff is fuckoff strong
The adhesive has been designed to effectively replace traditional welding, soldering and mechanical jointing methods in the joining/repairing of rigid surfaces including all metals, wood, glass and ceramics.

LOL @ Bal Exactly (although knowing my luck, it probably could be used for that
though I think I'd prefer the traditional way)

If you read their link I posted, it does mention engine repairs, and temp's it can withstand, it can be machined/drilled once cured etc...
I wonder if I could make a custom cam using that stuff, or repair a melted piston etc.. bosh some on it, bit of grinding and good as new

It depends what your expectations are?!
If your old Dorris's Nissan Micra looses a bit of water and she wants it to live for another 6 months then its great
