Default Exhaust manifold studs on a 2wd cossie

Does anyone know if the exhaust manifold studs in the head of a 2wd cossie are made of special steel? Is this why they are so expensive from Ford, or can you by them elsewhere. How can i prevent them from snapping off or is this a common problem?

Many thanks.

They snap and fallout because the turbo dampers go weak !!The 2wd Manifold and the turbo weigh a ton , without proper support the studs are the only things holding it up !!
