Sounds about right
So a bit Quicker than 10.66 then (at these sort of speeds a 1/10 is quite a bit imo)

think Kevs 0-60 was about 2.3 or .4 aint it, but got no idea on his 0-100 but gotta be well up there specially with his terminal speed

Steve, as I remember Kev's about 1/10th slower to 60 and 100 than Martin. Both are faster than Rocket Ron though whilst we are talking about the big man

only reson i asked is that,

i am looking at building/getting one of those plastic kit car ultimas,

there site is very interesting reading, as it just broke the record for 0/100 to 0

this was done with there high performance stock out of the crate chevy engine @ 640bhp and 541 ibs torque,

this stock customer car has air con. electric mirrors and all there normal bits like massive carbon rear wing,

check out there site for video footage ect,

these times with only there 640bhp engine

0/60 2.7
0/100 5.5
0/150 11.8

and only 204 mp @ brunters

only geared for 240 mph lol

they have just done more powerfull stock engines, now 720bhp and 580ibs torque,

so with this unit it no dount will be even quicker,

as anyone on here driven one?

rear wheel drive ford engine!

apperantly they have a demonstator they can take you out in if your interested in buying a kit

I like the look of them, the top models go VERY VERY well... that 0-100-0 record is sensational as is 204mph at Brunters. Without Turbos or NOS

But the nagging thing is that you are paying ALOT of money for a kitcar. 60k gets a lovely Porsche GT3 or a 996 Turbo. Not as fast... but much better to drive and own.

Ultima look mad mad mad fun though.

oh its a cool site as well if people haven't seen it. www.ultimasports.co.uk

yer mate,

but 60k is a built car,

you can build your own for more like 35k!

and then they tend to be worth 45k

so after some hard work you could even turn a buck,

and the way you can buy it in small bits and build it over a period of time helps with the cost.

porkie mate did you ceck out the video footage of the high speed run!

it was done from a standing start, not useing the bend at the bottom, very impressive,

I've not driven one, but the owner (Ted Marlow himself) took me out in his original car some 13 years ago, Red, J plate 470hp?

Seemed to take only a few seconds to get to 130mph on a short country road.
The funny thing was it only had 4 gears. 2nd gear was good for 120mph!

It looked ugly in some views and awesome in others.
It had 3mm ali plate between me and the 7500rpm revving V8 (10inches from my head).

Insane cars, a much better buy and performance than a super tourer, how about a turbo radical?

The other thing i remember about the original demonstrator car was i couldn't depress the clutch pedal, at all

Mine is 8.9 0-100 with a broken box and 360-380 bhp in damp conditions.
60-100 was 4.2 also.

Not bad for a T34 car i don't think, would be good with the new engine mods to beat rod's 60-100 of 3.06, will have to make that my target

That was on road tyres also, and track setup rear springs.

6.8 0-100 in a 2wd Cossie is seriously going , great testament to the Zoo Beam, drag slicks and whoever was driving at the time!

Oh and 204mph isn't too bad I guess

good times there kalaber!

my old 500 did

0/60 in 4.5

0/100 in 9sec

so yours is right up there,

the ultima with only the 640 bhp engine is 5.5 to100 so with the 720 bhp and maybe a blower for wot? 900 bhp? will be a little quicker.

only trouble is its going to take atleast a year to build te bugger.
