Default Mondeo ST TDCI Wiring diagram please?

As title,

Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the electrics to the front seats of a Mondeo ST TDCI Estate. My drivers side seat heaters are not working.

Had a look today and fuse is fine lights all come on on the dash to tell you the seats are working, passenger seat works fine but drivers is dead. All the electrics for the up and down ect work fine.

Anybody think of something/common problem I might want to check before Ford take me VERY roughly?

Thanks for looking.

Check the wiring plugs under the seats but its likely that the wires to the heating pads will of fractured, its most commonly on the drivers seat as it gets moved more than the passenger one.
The heating pads can be replaced but they cost about £100 each.

Cheers steve,

Wiring all looks ok, I have heard that if one of the pads fails non of them will work?

Think this one will cost! So much for reliable modern cars! LOL!

yeah thats true about the pads.a live runs through the element then out to earth so if 1 pad is open circuit it wont completer the circuit for it to work.
had a focus in at work with same problem.light lit up but no heat.checked continuity on back rest heater pad, all ok,tested the base heater and was open circuit

Cheers bud!

It all looks very complicated wiring wise under there. I thought it would be very straight forward to identify which wires were feeding to the bum and back pads but it wasnt.

I will completely remove the seat and put it on the bench. I assume I just find the wire to the pad and put my multimeter on the feed cable and do a buzz test for continuity?

Did you have any idea what the new pad cost?
