had a focus in at work with same problem.light lit up but no heat.checked continuity on back rest heater pad, all ok,tested the base heater and was open circuit

It all looks very complicated wiring wise under there. I thought it would be very straight forward to identify which wires were feeding to the bum and back pads but it wasnt.

I will completely remove the seat and put it on the bench. I assume I just find the wire to the pad and put my multimeter on the feed cable and do a buzz test for continuity?

Did you have any idea what the new pad cost?
