Default Best dailly runner for 10 grand (been shopping)

Well after a bit of looking around I ended up with this, went a bit over budget right enough.

BMW 320 D M-Sport 2006

Lovely looking 320d. Whats the spec mate?

The fuel economy is just as good with the re-map. There are some good maps going. Quickest ive seen a 320d with a re-map do is a 15.3@90mph with a 20mph headwind... Esily get into the 14's with a re-map..

Yours is the 163HoP version. the later ones are 177HP. both cracking engines.

How much did you pay? If you want a DMS map let me know!

Just a re-map mate.. Nothing else 215HP and lots of torque. My mate beat Focus ST (Mk20 and Type-R's there.

Im not sure what they charge for 320d. I should be able to get you a % discount.

very happy, I nearly ended up buying a cheaper car with less of a spec, which I would have not been happy with until I had upgraded the wheels, interior, bumpers etc. I would have ended up spending as much and it would have still not been half the car.

well thats how I managed to talk my self into it lol.

Speak to a dealership. They can print out the whole spec of your car for you!

Car is lovely but i cant believe how shit the stereo is, my mobile ringtone is better quality, wonder if the fully loaded ones are better?

I would seriously think about upgrading to the sat nav / i drive system in the future if its possible to do which I know would be pricey. not sure if it can just be added to the wiring harness though!

One with all the toys would have been lovely, but also over my budget!

its got little lights on the door handles that light up when you unlock the doors at night which looks pretty neat, and the seats have a little rocker switch that inflate the side bolsters and holds you in.

carlo is gonna find out the rest.

True... I tried to get those 5-spoke wheels when we were spec'ing up my old dears E92 and was told that because its an M-Sport model, they couldn't do it and we had to go for the 'usual' 19" upgrade option.

Cheers,
Grant

I had a clk 270 cdi a couple of years ago, and loved that to bits to, semi automatic trip-tronic gearbox. mine was completely standard and very nice to drive. you won't be dissapointed with your merc one bit. Great cars and good gearboxes.
