claiming off the local authority is bloody hard work, i gave up in my attempt

i hit 1 so hard it buckled a wheel and sheared a shock clean off at the strut top! luckily the compressed spring kept the thing together long enough for me to stop

before i could get back to get a daylight picture of the hole, it had been filled, within a matter of a few hours! wankers

I hit a pot hole and fucked a wheel, I went straight back with a camera and took a load of pics. then I called the council and the were very abrupt and not happy that i was calling about a claim. they asked where and within an hour or two it was filled in (lucky I took the pics)

got £75 towards a new RS wheel

We obviously aren't paying enough road tax.

When I was about 18 I went a blast up this single track road leading to a farm. I was on my way home one night and just decided to take a detour so I could have a bit of fun!

This was about 2am on a Sunday morning. I hit a pothole that was so deep I thought the wheel would have been broken. Just a puncture, but I didn't have a jack or a spare. Lol

My phone's battery also gave up the ghost at this point. What a night that was.

Have a look at www.potholes.co.uk

it's apparently harder to claim that it once was. I notified the council before claiming (on the sites advice) and they filled it the next day. I didn't bother claiming in the end. But it could be worth pursuing if you like a battle!

I try not to fuck potholes anymore - the highways agency don't like it! I tend to just wank off over them now!

I hit a pothole on the M11 in my old Peugeot 206 gti with the front nearside wheel, the force popped the fuel cut out switch which was located on top of the inner wing on the near side,a few weeks later my tyre was low on air and the inner side wall of tyre had split, turns out the rim was slightly fooked,i didn't bother with the council as i thought i wouldn't get anywhere.

I had a bad experience with a pot hole a while ago when i got a large dent in my rs diamond cut . which in the end cost me to fix as the local authorities made excuse after excuse so they did not have to pay out. They wanted picture's of the wheel ,the hole measurements, ect. And i was asked why was the hole not reported before? I told them is has been as you have pissed poor fixed it twice before! They fixed the hole 3 day's later.

Potholes are a disgrace,

They are annoying when you drive over them .... But try accidently riding over them on an r6 at 40mph..... They can end up killing a motorcyclist.
Do the council care??? Nope
