im new to the site but thought i might as well join in with the posts,

had my car on the rollers today, 1.8zetec turbo running OFAB managment,CVH efi inlet, CVH exhaust manifold and t3 turbo and its in a 5door mk3 fiesta classic

first run was 195bhp at the wheels, then he done a second run with fuel pressure gauge etc on it as he thought the fueling was wrong and he was right its majorly under fueled ! he tried adjusting the pressure reg but then decided its the fuel pump,

second run it made 200bhp and 220ft/lb of torque

quite happy with it but will change the pump and fuel line and get my hybrid turbo on and see if i can get some more out of it

Can't believe you want more.... we had an RS Turbo kicking that break out and it was positively scary with a heavy right foot......LOL

 

well i was hoping for around 230ish lol, we shall see what the future brings, its not bad for a engine/car built on a Ł1000 budget

 

get the fuelling sorted as soon as poss, or it'll be a whole heap more than Ł1K, lol

 

i will be getting a escort cos pump asap need to change my fuel line too according to the tuner, he was pleased with everything bar the fueling so im happy considering its my first real engine build

yeah i know 200bhp is good but i want more lol,

ray said once i have sorted the fueling and have got my larger custom turbo on, he will play with the boost and verniers etc to get the best out of it

 

i went with my mate 2day 2 get his focus rs rolling roaded and the first thing they said was cant do it mate the charge cooler has gone he said its a commen fault with the rs and they have done 3 of them in the last 2 weeks he was gutted so he had to book it in for that which is gunna be Ł220
