Bought a track prepared XR2 last week for the engine. Engine is now out and I have the shell sitting there, unsure how to price it! This is the spec:

E reg Mercury grey XR2 shell
Full roll cage, door bars the lot (plus welded in rear strut brace and welded in mounting for video camera)
2 x bucket seats + harnesses
Spax adjustables (i'm told but cannot confirm)
Poly bushed (also been told but cant confirm)
Racing slick tyres on standard pepperpots

The shell is pretty damn clean and solid considering its a mk2 Fester, its had two new wings, a new crossmember and a new front panel. Fllor and inner wings are solid.

Prob quite a good shell for a turbo conversion or whatever to just tear round a track in!

I'll be honest mate, I paid Ł300 for the car which included a sweet 1600 cvh with twin 40s, high lift cam, four branch, full stainless and brand new fuel pump and regulator. i think i pulled the guys hand off his arm!
